E78 ECM
This listing is for a used OEM E78 Engine Control Module (ECM) that is sold stock and as removed from the donor vehicle.
Unless you select the Programming Option from the drop-down menu, the ECM will be shipped exactly as it was removed from the donor vehicle with its existing programming still installed.
No programming will be performed unless you purchase the programming option.
Each ECM is tested before being listed to confirm proper operation.
IMPORTANT — MATCH YOUR SERVICE NUMBER & BCC
It is extremely important that you compare the label on your original, failed ECM with the ECM you are ordering.
Before purchasing, verify that the Service Number and BCC (Broadcast Code) match the module required for your vehicle.
You are responsible for selecting the correct:
Service Number
BCC (Broadcast Code)
Do not order based only on the ECM looking the same. Different E78 ECMs may look identical but have different service numbers, broadcast codes, hardware, or applications.
Always compare the numbers on your original ECM before placing your order.

PROGRAMMING OPTION
The price shown is for a stock/as-removed ECM unless otherwise indicated.
If you would like us to program the ECM for your vehicle, select the appropriate Programming Option from the drop-down menu before adding the ECM to your cart.
Programming is an additional charge.
The additional programming charge covers the cost of programming the required vehicle-specific calibrations into the ECM based on the information provided with your order.
If programming is not selected and paid for, the ECM will be shipped with the donor vehicle programming still installed, and no programming will be performed by us.
STOCK/AS-REMOVED OPTION
If you select:
Stock/As Removed — Included in Price
you will receive the ECM exactly as it was removed from the donor vehicle.
This means:
Existing donor vehicle programming remains installed
No programming will be performed
A stock/as-removed ECM may require programming or configuration before it will operate correctly in your vehicle.
PROGRAMMED OPTION
If you select:
Programmed to Your VIN — Additional Charge
we will program the ECM using the vehicle information provided with your order.
The additional charge is specifically for the programming and calibration service performed on the ECM.
If you purchase programming, please make sure you provide the correct VIN and any other requested vehicle information.
Only enter your VIN if you are purchasing the programming option.
USED OEM PART CONDITION
Because this is a used automotive part, the ECM may show normal signs of previous installation, handling, and use, including:
Dirt, dust, or grease
Marker or identification writing
Scratches or scuffs
Cosmetic blemishes
Surface discoloration
Normal wear from previous installation
These cosmetic conditions do not affect the module’s operation.
Each ECM is tested before listing and confirmed to be operating properly at the time of testing.
SHIPPING
Your ECM will be securely packaged for shipment and normally shipped within 48 hours of purchase.
