Complete standalone engine and transmission wiring harness designed for select GM Gen III Vortec 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L engine swap applications. This harness is configured for a drive-by-cable throttle body, red and blue PCM connectors, and a 4L60E automatic transmission.

The harness provides a clean, organized solution for installing a compatible GM Vortec engine and transmission into a custom vehicle, classic car, truck, hot rod, or other LS swap project.

IMPORTANT: Verify your ECM is P01 requiring red and blue connections, transmission, injector connectors, crankshaft sensor system, MAF sensor, and other engine components before ordering. GM used different electrical systems and connector configurations throughout these model years.

PROGRAMMING REQUIREMENTS

The PCM must have Vehicle Anti-Theft System, commonly known as VATS, disabled for the engine to operate correctly in most standalone swap applications.

This harness does not include wiring provisions for the factory EGR system, secondary air-injection pump, or CCP/EVAP emissions equipment. These systems are not required for basic engine operation in an OFF-ROADE or exempt swap application. PCM calibration changes may be required to prevent diagnostic trouble codes related to removed emissions equipment.
